The Sandhu Charitable Foundation are delighted to donate £1,000 to the Fort Augustus Secret Santa again this year. The Charity’s donation will contribute towards gifts being provided to local children and families who struggle all year round – a Santa bag of toys, pyjamas, hats, gloves, colouring books, pens, toiletries and Christmas treats like selection boxes, tubs of chocolates, shortbread and food supplies wherever they are able. Disabled people and the elderly who are mainly housebound and live alone do not miss out either – they are given a Santa bag of food containing the likes of tins of soup, beans, ham, tuna etc. and treats like shortbread, warm socks and a toiletry box. A truly magical and heartwarming act.
As part of their continuing commitment, The Sandhu Charitable Foundation donates £25,000 to The Anne Frank Trust to enable them to continue making a meaningful impact by working with young people to combat all forms of prejudice.
