    • In their 60th Anniversary year, Young Enterprise has received £18,000 from The Sandhu Charitable Foundation (by way of matched funding) specifically in connection with their funding drive for their LNER (London North Eastern Railway) project.  The aim of the project is to provide financial and enterprise learning opportunities for young people aged 11-18 along the East Coast Mainline (London Kings Cross, Stevenage and Peterborough, Grantham and Lincoln, Hull, York, Middlesborough, Durham, Newcastle).   Young Enterprise hope to equip an estimated 1,350 young people with critical skills – resilience, confidence, teamwork ability, and communication – while empowering them with an enterprising mindset to support them into bright futures.  This particular project prioritises support of young people from marginalised groups and who face the greatest barriers to their development, such as those affected by poverty, or with special educational needs and disabilities.
